Crew

Captain
Goran Rogulj
English
The captain Goran is a skilled and enthusiastic captain with extensive experience in the yachting industry since 2010. Born in 1977, he is an electromechanic by profession, which helps him to effectively apply his experience in ship maintenance. Even though he's professional and
silent person, he's very knowledgeable and can always advise on best places to visit. Before he fell in love with gulets, he worked as a skipper on sailboats and went shell diving. Diving still remained one of his favorite hobbies and occasionally he also engages in sport fishing. Goran is fluent in Croatian and English. During his free time, the Captain can often be seen racing the ski slopes, enjoying his second love – skiing.
Sailor
Stipe Bajan
Born in 2001, Stipe completed his education at a technical traffic school. During his summer breaks, he frequently found himself cleaning sailboats, which marked the beginning of his journey. In 2019, following his father's encouragement, he embarked on a new chapter by becoming a sailor in the crew of a gulet. He is responsible for various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the boat and the safety and comfort of guests on board. Stipe is fluent in Croatian and English. When interacting with guests, he enjoys listening to their stories, learning about their culture, customs and language. During his leisure time, he makes an effort to relax and explore as much as possible, sometimes escaping to the mountains for a well-deserved break.
Steward
Tomislav Elez
English, German, Italian, Spanish
Queen of Adriatic is proud to have Tomislav Elez—better known as Tomo—on board, bringing a warm spirit and diverse experience to the crew. Born on November 29, 1990, Tomo entered the maritime world in 2025, having previously worked in hospitality and construction, which instilled in him a strong work ethic and a knack for making guests feel at ease.
Fluent in English, German, Italian, and Spanish, Tomo enjoys meeting new people and engaging in conversations with guests from diverse backgrounds. His approachable personality and ability to connect create a welcoming atmosphere on every journey.
Outside of work, Tomo is passionate about fitness and theology, often spending his winters between his local church and enjoying the quiet countryside life. His unique mix of interests and positive attitude make him a valued member of the Queen of Adriatic crew, ensuring every guest feels part of something special.
Cook
Danijel Frundt
Danijel, born in 1994, graduated from a catering cooking school that gave him a solid culinary foundation, after which he worked as a chef in restaurants in Split, Zagreb, and even Belgium. He is fluent in English, German, and has a working knowledge of French. Since 2021, on a recommendation, he embarked on a new journey by joining a gulet crew. He takes pleasure in meeting new people, which aligns perfectly with his roles as a waiter and sailor on the gulet. His passion for mingling with guests and creating memorable moments enhances the overall journey. Beyond his professional skills, Danijel has a deep love for fishing and enjoys spending time on the water. In the winter, he works as a chef in Zagreb, and in his free time he likes to visit electronic music festivals. His diverse interests and skills contribute to making the gulet experience even more enjoyable for passengers.
